Christian and her family joined the Rogue Valley community in 2017. Later, as a young parent living among the urban farms of East Austin, Texas she got involved in eat local and food justice communities. That farm donated 100% of the produce to local food shelves, shelters and provided education for the community. There he had been the manager of a grant supported county farm.
